MBI's Decorative Acoustic Panels Enhance the National Mounted Warrior Museum
If acoustical products are doing their job, you typically don’t notice them. That is unless they are decorative acoustic panels, purposely designed to have a visual impact as well as acoustical advantages.
A recently completed project at the brand new National Mounted Warrior Museum is a perfect example of acoustics blended with aesthetics.
MBI Products’ Masquerade system was installed by Masyer Corp. in the dramatic entryway of this world-class museum. With these decorative acoustic panels in place, visitors will be able to enjoy immersive exhibits without the distraction of echos in this circular area. Masquerade’s acoustical absorption decreases sound reverberation and creates a quietly comfortable environment that is conducive to a quality visitor experience. Educational programs, multimedia presentations, and storytelling will all be enhanced by the backdrop and its acoustical properties.
Not only do the panels improve the acoustics of the space, but they look elegant. More advantages of Masquerade’s decorative acoustic panels include easy, clean installation and endless design possibilities, as illustrated by this custom solution at the museum. The job was not only successful acoustically, but also from a customer service perspective.
“MBI, as always, felt like a partner on this project rather than a supplier. Their team is reliable, fair, and always follows through,” said Bob Hopkins of Masyer Corp. “Our client was more than satisfied with the acoustical results and the appearance of the panels.”
Special recognition goes to MBI Products’ sales representatives at Specified Int*Ex who facilitated this special project. The National Mounted Warrior Museum is located near Fort Hood in Texas anticipates opening its doors to the public in late 2022.
