MBI Products Company, Inc. President Cree Kysela’s solid character and spirited nature set the tone for the entire company. Cree’s pride in the company runs deep, as he is carrying on the legacy of his father-in-law, company founder Bernie Zarnick. Cree feels most rewarded by how MBI Products change people’s lives for the better. Teachers, athletes, students, music lovers, and sports fans are just a few of the customer profiles that directly benefit from proper sound management. He loves to tell stories about the spaces that have been transformed with MBI’s sound engineering—all made possible by the team he has helped to build since 1992. 

You can feel the pride when he’s speaking about the company team and their shared successes. From the front office executives to the manufacturers on the plant floor, everyone on the team is part of the work-family at MBI, according to Cree. He embodies the company’s core values and expects employees to follow suit. Proud to have his son Cam on board, Cree enjoys seeing the operation through a fresh set of eyes and is excited about the future.

Cree’s other loyalty is to Michigan State. A 1992 graduate of the university, he’s a passionate fan of the Spartans. Cree and his wife Lisa are Rocky River, Ohio natives and have raised their three kids there as well. When not in the office you can find him golfing or cheering on Cleveland sports teams. As a longtime season ticket holder for the Cleveland Browns, he’s always waiting for next year! (Edit:  We beat Pittsburgh in the Playoffs!)
